About the STC-ACHE

Leading Healthcare Leadership in South Texas

  • The South Texas Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (STC-ACHE) serves healthcare leaders across more than 50,000 square miles of South Texas — a region as diverse, resilient, and dynamic as the communities we serve.
  • Healthcare leadership has never carried greater responsibility. Our organizations face accelerating change, workforce challenges, financial pressures, and evolving patient expectations. In this environment, leadership cannot be accidental — it must be intentional, ethical, collaborative, and forward-looking.

STC exists to elevate that leadership.

  • As the region’s professional home for healthcare executives at every stage of their journey — from emerging leaders to seasoned C-suite executives — STC provides a forum where ideas are sharpened, perspectives are expanded, and relationships are built with purpose. Through executive education, meaningful peer engagement, and community-centered initiatives, we cultivate leaders who not only manage complexity but shape the future of healthcare across South Texas.

Our mission is clear:

  • Advance excellence in healthcare leadership and management
  • Promote the highest standards of ethics and professional conduct
  • Support continuous professional growth and lifelong learning
  • Strengthen the leadership pipeline for our region

In partnership with the American College of Healthcare Executives, we are building a community of leaders committed to improving the health of the populations we serve — today and for generations to come.

We invite you to lead with us.
