DISTINGUISHED HEALTHCARE ADMINISTRATION SERVICE AWARD

Description:

The purpose of this award is to recognize an outstanding healthcare executive, professional, or faculty member who has demonstrated leadership and vision, high standards and ideals, exemplary service and commitment, and sustained contributions to advancing healthcare and healthcare administration.  This is the highest award bestowed by the South Texas Chapter of ACHE. 

Criteria:

The recipient must be a member of the South Texas Chapter of ACHE.  The recipient must have made significant contributions to the profession of healthcare administration for at least 10 years.  Contributions and accomplishments could be made in practice, education, research, administration, mentoring, advocacy, service to the profession, and/or service to the community.
