SUMMARY:Volunteer event- San Antonio Food Bank
DESCRIPTION:Excellent opportunity for ACHE members to sort and pack produce\, nonperishable foods\, and household items\, to prepare them for distribution. Duties may include checking for expiration dates\, opened packages and spoilage\, labeling cans\, packing bags of food and household items. This project is fun and rewarding. Children 8 and up are able to attend. \nDue to safety concerns all volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes (no sandals or flip flops) and clothes appropriate to work in a warehouse environment. \nRegister at our Eventbrite site today! \n
